CD Track Properties

The track list is automatically filled when you insert a disc in your CD-ROM drive. You can adjust a track's start and end position by double-clicking on a track name in the Encode Queue.

Track Name displays the name of the selected track.

Minutes, Seconds

Start allows you to set a Start time for ripping and encoding the track. When you set the Start time, the First Frames field is automatically set.

End allows you to set a End time for ripping and encoding the track. When you set the End time, the Last Frames field is automatically set.

Length displays the playback duration of your track based on the Start and End times you have entered.

Frames

First displays the frame number based on the Start time you have entered. If you want to rip and encode starting on a specific frame number, you can type the starting time in the First Frames field.

Last displays the frame number based on the End time you have entered. If you want to rip and encode ending on a specific frame number, you can type the ending time in the Last Frames field.

Total displays the total number of frames for your track based on the First and Last frames field.

Apply incorporates your changes without closing the CD Track Properties dialog.

Cancel leaves the CD Track Properties dialog without saving any changes you may have made.

OK leaves the CD Track Properties dialog and saves any changes you made.

Tip

You can rip an entire CD as one track instead of as separate tracks.

  1. Double-click the last track.
  2. From the Track Information dialog, click the Properties button.
  3. From the Properties dialog, type "0" in the First Frames field.
  4. Click the OK button.
